Design
Ancient Egypt uses a moving background of a starlight night which is pierced by ethereal white beams of light, and the reel set sits with a gold picture frame which features a falcon’s wings, presumably as a tribute to the Egyptian god of good health, protection, and royal power, Horus.
The burgundy colour of the reel set contrasts nicely with the gold-embossed paytable symbols. There are five reels, three rows of symbols, and ten fixed paylines, and the game allows you to create winning combinations from left to right on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel.
There are a total of ten paytable symbols, and in order of highest to lowest valued, they are Queen Cleopatra, the god Anubis (with the jackal’s head), the ankh, the Eye of Horus, A, K, Q, J, and 10.
