In the Doctor Love online slot by NextGen Gaming, we’re heading back to the groovy 70s for a heart-racing adventure with the smoothest medical professional of them all, Doctor Love, and his trusty sidekick, Nurse Nadia.
The theme is reminiscent of a “Carry On” film crossed with the American 70s comedy series, The Love Boat. Popular online slot game developer, NextGen Gaming, first released this game in 2012, although it has since created an equally entertaining sequel called Doctor Love on Vacation, which sees the doctor and Nurse Nadia head off to Hawaii to help look after hapless surfers, swimmers, and sunbathers.

Design
The amusing design of the Doctor Love online slot can’t fail to raise a smile on all who play it.
As it’s a seventies-themed slot, the background consists of pink and purple psychedelic swirls, and the game logo appears in a funky font over the top of the reel set.
The reels sit in the centre of the screen with the twenty paylines represented by numbers (from 1 to 20) down the left and right-hand sides. The reel set is made up of five reels and three rows on which you’ll encounter twelve different symbols. There’s a bunch of flowers with a “Get Well” card attached to it, a patient’s medical chart, a pair of pastel pink crutches, a nurse’s watch, a poorly gentleman covered in bandages with a thermometer sticking out of his mouth, an ambulance, a teddy bear, the pretty nurse (Nadia), a vial of medicine, a stethoscope, the Love Meter, and Doctor Love himself.
The majority of the paytable symbols award cash prizes when three or more of them land on adjacent reels from left-to-right, starting with the leftmost reel. The exception to this rule is the scatter symbol (N.B., the Love Meter) which pays regardless of where it appears.
