Monopoly Big Event
In the Monopoly Big Event online slot, two of the biggest subsidiaries of SG Interactive (WMS and Barcrest) bring you Britain’s famous board game from Hasbro in all its glory.
Monopoly Big Event showcases many of the characters that we know and love from the property tycoon-themed board game, and combines them with a fantastic array of online slot bonus games and special features. Design
The Hasbro Monopoly board game provides the backdrop for the Monopoly Big Event online slot, and in the centre of the screen, you have the reel set which consists of five reels and three rows of symbols.
The paytable symbols include some of the board game’s most popular tokens, including the dog, the cat, the car, and the boat. The property tycoon (Mr Monopoly) is in there too along with five playing card symbols (10, J, Q, K, and A), the Monopoly Big Event logo, an “In Jail” symbol, a “WILD”, and a Big Event symbol.
There are twenty paylines on which winning combinations can be created, and all line pay symbols must appear on a played line and on consecutive reels, starting with Reel 1.
The are several ways in which you can customise Monopoly Big Event, the first being the Bet/Line option. By clicking the green plus and red minus arrows, you can adjust how much you wish to bet per line to 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00, 1.50, 2.50, 5.00, 10.00, 15.00 or 25.00. These figures give you a total bet-per-spin of 20p, 40p, 60p, £1, £2, £3, £5, £10, £20, £30, £50, £100, £200, £300, and £500 respectively.
However, if you choose to play the Big Bet Feature (which we’ll be explaining more about very shortly), you also need to chick on the purple Big Bet icon on the right-hand side and choose either the £20 game or the £30 game, which is added to the cost of your total bet.
The blue Help icon loads the paytable while the red Auto Play button lets you configure the slot so that it takes a predefined number of spins on your behalf, and also stops when certain conditions (e.g. Stop on a Single Win Over x amount) are met.
Wild Symbol
The purple-and-gold “WILD” symbol is the wild symbol in the Monopoly Big Event online slot by SG Interactive. Its purpose is to help you make winning combinations by replacing all symbols except the game logo and the “In Jail” symbol. It’s also one of the two top-paying symbols in the game, and it can award you a terrific two thousand times your stake for five-of-a-kind!
Scatter Symbol
The scatter symbol in the Monopoly Big Event online slot is the “BIG EVENT” symbol, and you need at least three of it to activate the Big Event Bonus.
Bonus Round
Like several other Barcrest online slot games, Monopoly Big Event comes with an optional feature known as Big Bet. It allows you to make the most of the game’s special features by paying extra. Plus, it can also boost the RTP (Theoretical Return to Player Rate) from an already-impressive 96% to a jaw-dropping 99%.
Big Bet gives you two different options, and both get you five consecutive spins.
For £20, you get five spins with a progressive win multiplier starting at x1 and ending at x5 applied to any wins. For £30, you get five spins, and before you can get started, you spin a fortune wheel to find out whether you’ll receive Persisting Wilds (where the Big Event Bonus symbol becomes a locked wild for the duration of your spins), Epic Spins (with x5 multipliers) or a Progressive Win Multiplier that starts at x1 and increases on each spin up to a maximum of x5.
The Big Event Bonus is activated when at least three Big Event symbols come into view. Unlock it with four or five scatters respectively, and you get to play the bonus with House Sneak Preview or Hotel Sneak Preview. The idea of Sneak Preview is that you get to see where the house and hotel cards are hidden.
The Big Event Bonus begins with you picking Community Chest and Chance cards to earn free spins, free spins with guaranteed wins, expanding wilds, locked wilds, and In Jail cards which remove the lowest-value symbols from the reels.
